Collection: Agave albopilosa

Agave albopilosa is a still very rare agave specie and one of the most amazing.
It was first publised in 2007. It only grows on a nearly vertical cliff in the mountains of Nueve Leon, Mexico.
After a few years the tips of the green upturned leaves develop little white tufts of hair.
It does not offset and seeds are very scarce...
Exact winterhardiness is not known yet, but in the wild it grows together with Agave bracteosa, victoria-regina and lechuguilla.
